Thank you again to all of the people who helped make our second annual full length Nutcracker a success.  To the performers, prop parents, and costumers; thank you for all of your hard work and time. Without you the production would not be possible! To the audience, we hope you enjoyed the show!!

 Below is just some general information from our past show, information does change from season to season. students must be registered in our ballet program to be a part of the show.
 
NUTCRACKER 2011 Information and Policies
  •  All participants of the Nutcracker must be enrolled in CAD for the Fall 2010-2011 season.
  • Participants must be at least 6 years of age OR in the CAD Company.
  • Most Principal roles will be held for Company students only.
  • Attendance Policy: No more than 2 week day classes and 1 Saturday rehearsal may be missed before performance opportunities are in jeopardy. However, ANY absence may result in formation changes and/or role changes. This policy will be strictly enforced.
  • There is a $150 performance fee required to participate in the production. Each dancer is required to participate in any and all fundraisers for the Nutcracker. All monies raised will be used for props, sets, venue rental, costumes, etc. A minimum of $100 must be raised. The performance fee and fundraiser monies will be used for costume rental, a shirt for your dancer, all rehearsal time, venue rental, etc.
  • Participants must be present for dress rehearsal, and must participate in a full weekend of shows (4 shows). TENTATIVE Show Dates: December 16-18. Regular tuition rates apply for weekly classes. All performance fees must be paid in full by September 15. Fundraiser information will be given in September.
  • Tickets will be sold to performances. The production is reserved seating only, ticket prices vary.
 
Costumes...Costumes will be rented from CAD. No permanent alterations are to be made to fit any one student. Costumes must be turned in after the last show. If a costume is not returned to CAD a charge of up to $350 will be placed on to the dancers account.
