Owner, Director, Instructor
Heather was born and raised in Dallas, Georgia. She began dancing at the age of 2 at a metro Atlanta studio under the direct supervision of Pamela Mitchell Lambert. At the age of 14 she began assistant teaching and at the age of 16 began choreographing and instructing. At age 17 she took her first full routine to a regional competition. The routine received a Platinum award and cash prize. Heather has competed in regional and national competitions throughout the south. She embarked on her dream of owning her own studio in 2005. She taught 5 students out of a basement. Despite the restrictions of instructing in a non-studio setting, Heather's routines brought home top honors at four regional competitions and one national competition that season. These students are still with her today. In 2005 she also performed and acted as show supervisor at Six Flags Over Georgia. In 2006 Heather began teaching at CAD. Within six months of working as an instructor for the previous owner, she became the studios acting director. In that same year, Heather started the CAD Company. That summer she was offered the studio and jumped at the opportunity. Since then, under Heather's ownership and direction, the studio has tripled in enrollment and moved to a more accessible and convenient location. CAD now offers four levels of CAD Company classes, over 40 classes per week, private lessons, and is still growing! Heather continues her dance education by attending conventions and workshops throughout the southeast. At these conventions and workshops Heather has had the opportunity to learn from great choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio, Wade Robson, Chris Judd, Brian Friedman, LaurieAnn Gibson, and many more. She has been a part of several different community organizations by teaching dance camps to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Paulding County, and volunteering her time to the Tanner Health Systems Children's Camp and the Girl Scouts. Heather emphasizes the art of dance, technical training, age appropriate costuming and choreography, and life lessons through dance education. She hires only the best instructors who also believe in the value of teaching dance as an art form. While Heather emphasizes intensive training to her Company students, she also gives the same attention to recreational students. Each season CAD present annual productions of The Nutcracker, a Winter Extravaganza Recital, and the End of Season Recital. Students at CAD are also given the opportunity to perform at local events, attend regional and national competitions, as well as attending conventions and workshops throughout the southeast. Performance opportunities are of utmost importance to Heather. "If a child can dance on a stage with poise, grace, class, and excitement, imagine what they can achieve in life!" Heather is looking forward to many more years as studio owner. She strives to provide the best dance education in the West Georgia area, encourage high self esteem in students, and spark a passion in all through the art of dance.

Mikey “Mr.Mikey” Hollingsworth is an Atlanta, Georgia based dancer, choreographer, and entrepreneur who has become known as the “Gentlemen Dancer”. Growing up in Metro-Atlanta, Mikey loved to entertain people whether if it was creating something new or showing off his talents. As he grew older, he felt inspired by performers such as Charlie Chaplin, Gene Kelly, Donald O’ Connor, and Fred Astaire who have inspired many others to become something more than an entertainer. Studying these dancers with the influence of the Hip-Hop community helped create his signature dance style which is known for its comedic, house style, and explosive moves. “Mr. Mikey” started dancing at a young age with childhood friends travelling around the state of Georgia attending battles and amateur performances. He began professionally training in 2010 with friends who have established themselves within the industry. Mikey has pushed himself to train with well-established dancers and choreographers such as Jeremy Strong, Gabriel Graves, Dave Scott, Robert Hoffman, and variety of members from different dance crews across the globe. Along with his training he has able to perform with artists Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Porter, Tom P, Darth & Vader, work on networks like Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, and perform at events as large as Tomorrow World. From all his good fortunes, he’s given back to the community by performing on stages for the American Cancer Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and more but not only that but continues to teach across the nation. “Mr. Mikey” continues to travel to build his passion and spread his unique style.
A graduate of CAD and CAD's Teacher Apprentice Program, Bailee was a member of the competitive team Parker Dance Company from the start. Her dance career began at age 2 in Dallas, GA. Her dance performances include The Nutcracker in roles of Arabian Coffee, Waltz of the Flowers, Waltz of the Snowflakes, and Sugar Plum Fairy as well as competitions throughout the southeast in which she represented CAD in group numbers, duets, trios, and as a soloist. Throughout her high school career she held individual roles in several musicals, chorus performances, and dramatic plays. After making it through the first round of auditions for SYTYCD in Atlanta, an unfortunate injury caused her to take a break from her own training. Her teaching experience began at age 16 with a studio in Dallas, GA. Her competitive choreographic debut in 2014 was consistently the highest scoring routine in the duet/trio division at multiple competitions for PDC that season. She is looking forward to getting back into her own training as well as starting school to pursue a degree in nursing. A favorite with our youngest dancers, Miss Bailee has a gift for teaching ages 3-5. Her love for teaching the little ones, musical ear, acrobatic abilities, and passion for the art of dance are just a few reasons we are excited to have Miss Bailee on staff.
