About Us

welcome to
Carrollton Academy of Dance

"Life lessons through dance education."

How We Train
We believe that all students deserve the same dance education. Our weekly classes are open to all dancers and inclusive of both recreational and competitive students.  We use age as a guideline for class placement however, we believe in meeting each student where they are as an individual. Our staff takes great care in placing students where they, and their classmates, are provided the best opportunity to thrive. Consideration is given to physical abilities, cognitive development, behavioral maturity, experience, and more. In doing so, we are able to ensure that every dancer continues to be appropriately challenged while also alleviating feelings of overwhelm and discouragement. This also allows for individualized assessments in injury prevention. The physical and mental health of our students is our top priority.

What We Do
We provide an education in dance and acrobatics that has been proven to prepare our students for life after the studio. Whether a student is seeking placement on a college dance team, has a goal of majoring in dance, or simply enjoys the art of dance as an extracurricular, we provide the encouragement, support, and knowledge to assist them in their dance journey. Our staff is dedicated to the growth and success of all students while also understanding that each dancer is unique. We encourage growth mindset, discourage comparison as a standard of success, and recognize that no two dancers are the same. Whether learning a simple beginner step, executing an advanced skill, showing growth in social skills, or a taking a step toward being more confident, we celebrate the achievements of every dancer.

Life lessons through dance education is our

mission statement and the backbone of our program.

We're not just teaching dance. We're investing in and

building our students' confidence, resilience,

perseverance, character, and so much more.
