Student Information
This page will include all information for students and parents regarding the preparations of our 2025 Nutcracker show. All dancers enrolled in Beginner through Level V Ballet perform in The Nutcracker! Auditions are held for dancers interested in being cast as additional characters and/or perform more than their weekly class routine. Here you will find audition information, rehearsal schedules, show details, show packet, etc. All info will be uploaded as it is finalized.
Nutcracker Performance Fees will be
charged to the card on file October 1st.

AUDITION TIMES
CAD dancers attend by Level.
Non-CAD dancers attend by age.

5:00-5:45 Beginner & Level I (ages 4.5-7)
6:00-6:45 Level II & Level III (ages 8-11)
7:00-7:45 Level IV & Level V (ages 12-18)
8:00-8:45 Pointe (ages 13-18)
*Dancers auditioning for Snow Queen and/or Sugar Plum Fairy must attend the Level IV & V audition AND the Pointe audition.*
OPEN TO ALL DANCERS!
Enrollment at CAD is not required to audition.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Dancer must have at least two consecutive and current years of experience in ballet or must be currently enrolled in ballet at CAD. All dancers must register online to audition PRIOR to September 18. All dancers must print, complete, and bring the audition form to their audition. Dancers under the age of 18 must have form completed and signed by parent or legal guardian. Dancer must wear required attire. See additional details through the Audition Information button .
NOTE...
If your dancer is CURRENTLY ENROLLED at CAD in Beginner Ballet, Level I Ballet, Level II Ballet, Level III Ballet, Level IV Ballet, or Level V Ballet they will automatically participate in The Nutcracker with their class!
IF YOU DO NOT WISH FOR YOUR DANCER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NUTCRACKER WITH THEIR CLASS YOU MUST REGISTER AS AN "OPT OUT" BY SEPTEMBER 28, 2025 TO AVOID PERFORMANCE FEE CHARGES.
